From the World of Distillates, Liqueurs, and Fortified Wines: Tasting Mint Cream Liqueur

"For many, tasting a pisco or wine is a complicated act reserved for experts. Despite this belief, tasting can be something very simple if one pays attention and sensitivity to its process, where the visual, olfactory, and gustatory senses are the main protagonists..." Taken from El Economista.

Comment: The Punto y Copa Mint Cream Liqueur is very well-crafted. Visually, it has an attractive light coffee-with-milk color. The alcohol is almost imperceptible (16%), but the fresh sensation of mint is noticeable, both on the nose and palate. Notes of nuts, such as hazelnut, walnut, and pecan, are also present. I tasted it at room temperature and enjoyed it, but in my opinion, it truly shines when chilled or served with an ice cube. It is delicious on the palate, silky, smooth, balanced, with a fresh mint finish. I paired it as a digestif after a Sunday lunch, and it stood out remarkably. It’s worth noting that these products, due to their dairy content, should be consumed once opened. If not finished, I recommend storing them in the refrigerator for no more than 6 months. Drink responsibly. Until next time!
