"From the world of distilled spirits, liqueurs, and fortified wines" Tasting Turrón (Spanish nougat) Cream Liqueur

"To taste is to transform sensations into words."

This Turrón Cream is crafted by blending the famous Galician orujo (pomace brandy) with a dairy cream and authentic turrón (Spanish nougat), resulting in a very good combination—sweet and with an alcohol content of 15%. It comes in a 700 ml bottle, making it ideal as an aperitif or digestif. It can be served at room temperature, chilled, or with ice, depending on personal preference. It’s important to note that, once opened, these creams do not have an indefinite shelf life; their maximum preservation is 6 months, as long as they are kept in the refrigerator.

PLEASING APPEARANCE, CREAMY; BALANCED ON THE NOSE AND PALATE, VERY GOOD

The Turrón Cream is very good. I tried it neat: the sweetness is clearly noticeable; chilled, it’s even better, and much better with an ice cube, though this depends on personal preference. The turrón flavor is well-defined, with notes of nuts, hazelnuts, and walnuts. It’s balanced and harmonious, silky, and unctuous on the palate, with a medium persistence and a sweet finish. I prefer it as an aperitif or digestif.

Until next time!
